Chain Type Trenching Head

The Chain-Type Drain Cleaning Nozzle is a type of professional drain cleaning nozzle that combines water jet washing with mechanical scraping/stripping action using a chain(s) at its tip during high-pressure drain cleaning operations. The chain action helps loosen and break up deposits such as mud, oil slicks, sediment, and hardened dirt adhering to the pipe walls; then, high-pressure water jets drag these deposits away, allowing for faster pipe clearing. It is an effective solution, especially for pipes with long-standing, "sticky," and layered dirt that has not been cleaned.

Technically, the chain-type nozzle provides contact cleaning by flushing the line with water outlets while the chain(s) make controlled contact with the inner surface of the pipe. Typically, rear jets provide traction to the hose, supporting the nozzle's advancement and carrying the removed dirt and sediment backward; in some applications, jet angles and chain length are preferred depending on the severity of the blockage. With its durable housing and wear-resistant material selection, it offers long-lasting use in field conditions (with the correct pressure/flow rate and appropriate selection for the line type).
