Root Cutter Type Channel Opening Head
The Root Cutter Type Drain Cleaning Head is a professional drain cleaning head designed to break up tree roots, fibrous blockages, weed-root mixtures , and hardened deposits in drain lines using high-pressure water. Its root-cutter structure focuses its action on the point where roots are lodged in the pipe, rapidly weakening the blockage and breaking it up with water jets to reopen the line. It provides particularly effective results in external lines, garden crossings, manhole connections, and lines that have been neglected for a long time.
Technically, root cutter type nozzles advance using the thrust generated by high-pressure water, while the cutting structure (depending on the blade/tooth/rotor form) creates a cutting-fragmenting effect on root and fibrous blockages. Typically, multiple rear jets provide traction to the hose, ensuring stable movement of the nozzle within the channel and dragging the fragmented material backward; in some models , a forward-facing jet enhances blockage initiation/puncture performance. Wear-resistant materials and a robust housing design offer a long service life in intensive field use (with appropriate selection for the line type and correct pressure-flow rate).
